The Eaton family we are researching are known to have lived in Liverpool from the early nineteenth century onwards. Our earliest known ancestors were Richard Eaton and Sarah Grindley, who married in 1806. We have found what we believe to be the baptisms of both, even though they do not match exactly the ages given at death/burial. The Eatons lived in the Scotland and Vauxhall area, just north of the city centre. Several members of the family worked as broom and brush makers.
