Several generations of the Hulland family we are researching lived in Kings Nympton in Devon (the name is spelt Holland in some records). We can trace our ancestry to John Hulland and Elizabeth Peard, who were married in Kings Nympton in 1670/1. Our research into the earlier generations has been hampered by a gap in the Kings Nympton records before 1700. Although our own branch remained in the Kings Nympton area, other relatives have been traced to London, Sheffield and Lincoln.
