The Hulland family lived in Kings Nympton in Devon for several generations. We are interested in the following generations of people who bore this surname:
John Hulland (buried 1718) and Elizabeth Peard (buried 1719)
John Hulland (1682 - 1748) and Joan Bird (buried 1767)
Samuel Hulland (1723 - 1790) and Dorothy Selley (1722 - 1799)
William Hulland (1751 - 1821) and Elizabeth Clarke (1753 - 1814)
Elizabeth Hulland (1787 - 1862) and Henry Venn (1784 - 1863)
Most of our research on the Hulland family comes from Kings Nympton. We also know a little about the Clarke and Selley families, but our researches are limited by a gap in the Kings Nympton records before 1700. Elizabeth and Henry Venn remained in Kings Nympton for the rest of their lives.

Emily Grace Hulland (1838 - 1908) and William Harrison (1834 - 1890)
Richard Hulland and at least one of his brothers moved to London. Richard's children lived in London and Lincoln, and married into (among others) the Harrison and Merryweather families. Joyce Sluszny is our main source of information on this branch of the Hulland tree.
