This page lists those members of the Anderson family whose origins we are researching. Entries in italics are inferred or uncertain. Some details have been kindly supplied by other researchers and not personally verified by us. The list does not include children known to have died in infancy. We have traced several generations of Andersons in Canterbury, Kent. We know quite a lot about the families of Thomas Anderson (1785 - 1859) and William Anderson (1815 - 1896). They and many of their children remained in Kent. William's son James Anderson moved to London in the 1860s, and we have found several other relatives who lived in the London area.
